A very tasty and simple to make snack
Ingredients
  • 50g popping corn
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (I use rapeseed)
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 heaped teaspoon smoked paprika
  • A pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Place the popping corn and 1 tablespoon of oil into a medium size pan (use a larger pan than you think you will need as it will be easier to mix the popcorn together with the paste at the end)
  2. Put it on a medium heat and cover with a lid
  3. Once most of the corn has popped (takes 2-3 minutes) and popping sounds are about 3 seconds apart take the pan off the heat
  4. Meanwhile mix the remaining tablespoon of oil into a paste with the maple syrup, smoked paprika and pinch of salt
  5. Drizzle the mixture over the warm popcorn and stir well until all the corn is evenly coated then transfer to a bowl and serve
